What Is Falsetto?

So how do you learn to sing in falsetto?

1. Breath. As with voice work, falsetto requires proper breathing and well-developed lungs.
2. A feature of falsetto is not a smooth, but an abrupt transition from one note to another, and this requires lengthy training. And first of all, you need to learn how to just sing high notes, and gradually move to falsetto.
3. Air in falsetto is pushed out by the stomach into the head, and vibrates there. In this case, the muscles of the throat should remain without tension.
4. The chest should not vibrate. Put your hands on your chest while singing falsetto, and if your chest vibrates, then it's not falsetto.
5. One must learn to sing with the tips of the vocal cords when the cords are greatly stretched.
