Okakamuo : (pointing at ebube) here is your chosen king, and he is the one who the mystery crown fit (he said and the villagers shouted in jubilation, while some of the youths went to ebube to rejoice with him, meanwhile mbenwanyi was shedding tears of joy because she never expected that her son ebube will be the chosen king, after everything, Okakamuo returned back to his village)

Ebube was coronated as the new king of the kingdom, and the villagers were all singing and dancing in joy, uremma didn't attend the coronation day because she was ashamed that the villagers will make ridicule of her when they see her, that was why she decided not to attend the coronation to save herself from the shame, but her husband Ajoa and their sons went to the coronation to rejoice with ebube.

Some days later after ebube became the king, he got married to chika and also he compasate the family of the dead maidens and promise that the maidens will be remembered every year and he kept to his word, and from there he ruled the kingdom happily, And that was how peace came to the kingdom, and there was no more calamity on the throne again.
