.......What did I ever do to iye that she'd treat me this way,I have shown love,and nothing but love to Ehi and her family,and this is what I get,I wanted to go confront them immediately,but my strength failed me as I didn't know how to face them nor what to ask them....
I wore something and drove to Stan's place,only God in his mercy saw me through that ride that I wasn't involved in an accident...
Getting to his place,he was getting ready for work,...
What is it man,what brought you to my house so early,he could tell all wasn't fine from my facial expressions, AD,you are getting me scared, what's going on, how's your wife,he asked anxiously......
I sat on the couch for some minutes before I found the strength to explain my ordeal....
Stan,I have been living in a fool's paradise, Ehi doesn't love me,our marriage has been a game plan by iye,I am finished,I am so finish,I said....
You know you aren't making any sense right,I don't understand a thing,what are you saying man,he asked...

Stan,I called, please if Ehi calls you to know if I am at your place, please say no,I said...
Okay man,if that's what you want,he said as he went out.....
He who finds a wife is supposed to have found a good thing, apparently I found a bad thing for myself,is it a crime to love,all I ever wanted was to be loved in return,but if at all Ehi never loved me,I think I would have been able to deal with that,than being a fool for so long,after how many years,I was only but a game,oh I am doomed,I was lost in thought,I didn't even know when I feel asleep,,,,
I woke up hours later,I was weak,as it was already past noon,I stood up and went to the kitchen, somehow I opened the fridge and found some bottles of beer,I took more than I needed and vented my frustrations on them,I feel asleep again on the bottles ...
AD,AD,AD,I heard my name,I opened my eyes and it was Stan and Chi,....
What in heaven's name is wrong with you,are you planning on killing yourself in my house,what are all these bottles for,you have to stop this and be a man you are,Stan said...
AD,I understand how you feel, trust me,I honestly do underrrrrrrrrrrrr,you understand nothing,I interrupted Chi,you have no idea what it feels to be a fool in your own home,to be nothing but a game to the one your truly love,you have no idea what it's like to mean nothing,to someone who means everything to you,oh you have no idea what it feels to be a toy in the hands of someone you gave up everything and even your family for,you have no idea,so don't you dare say you understand how I feel,cause you understand nothing,I said Bursting into years again....
Chidera came closer to me and held me closely to herself,I really needed that hug, it's okay, it's well, please be strong,she kept saying....
It was getting late so she had to go, please be strong Amadi and be a man, I'd check up on you tomorrow too,she said and left....
Guy come go baff jor,so you can eat something too, Stan said.i staggered into the bathroom and refreshed, Stan gave me a short and polo to change into as I didn't bring any clothes,he served the table and we ate,I relaxed a little and went to bed.....
Waking up the next day I saw I had missed so many of Ehi's calls,what exactly does she want I asked myself hissing out loud.....
Ehi called me few minutes ago, asking if you were at my place as you hadn't come home since yesterday and aren't picking your calls either, Stan said...
And what did you tell her,I asked him...
That I hadn't seen you nor able to reach you too....he said...
Thanks alot man,I replied....
Stan got dressed for work,and adviced I shouldn't go near any bottles as those wouldn't change a thing....
Come oh man,I am not a child,I replied....
I had my bath, ate something,then
got a book from Stan's library to keep me busy, thankfully i picked an Interesting one,the storyline was very captivating,and the writer was fabulous,I gave the book my all,but then Ehi calls wouldn't let me concentrate,hence I had to switch off the phone so I wouldn't get distracted....
I didn't even realized it was that late, untill Stan knocked,I opened and he came with Chi....
Somebody is looking brighter, chi said, hugging me, thank you,I replied...
am happy you are looking different from yesterday, nothing is new under the sun,I am so sure you'd be fine,it was never your fault,and no one can blame you for loving so honestly, if your wife and her mother chooses to be ungrateful,it's their loss not yours,she said..

Please I would have to leave early today,as my mom is around,she called that she was at my place,she said...

As she was on her way home,an idea crossed my mind...

Barely 5minutes she left we heard a knock at the door,,,
Could Chi had forgotten something, Stan went to get the door and it was a beautiful young lady who walked in...
Stan hugged her, planting a kiss on her lip,AD meet my fiancee,baby,meet my brother AD,I have told you about him, Stan said...
Nice meeting you dear,I stretched my hand for a handshake,the pleasure is all mine,she replied, accepting my handshake...
Your face looks familiar,like I have seen you before,I said....

I don't know his name,neither do I know so much about him,I met him some years ago when I was working as a waitress in an hotel,he was going through alot then and he wouldn't eat,she said...
