.......I woke up to find myself in the hospital,a very beautiful woman was standing besides me, immidiately I opened my eyes,she ran out to call the doctor...
I was looking at both of them in shock,the doctor checked me and he told the woman I was fine, she's okay,she passed out due to shock, especially since her baby is almost coming,the doctor said....
Hello dear,the woman greeted, hello ma,I responded...
I am Mrs Johnson,I almost hit you with my car few hours ago as you wouldn't move out of the road,but thank God for his intervention,she said...
Oh,am so sorry ma,I just became weak,and my legs couldn't carry me,I said..
Young lady,why didn't you go to the hospital,you were in labor,the doctor said...
I ln labour?,I was okay when I left the house,no signs of labor,I started feeling the pains and weakness on the road, I said...
You aren't even supposed to be getting so stressed at this time of your pregnancy, thank God for the timely intervention of this woman that brought you here,the doctor said....
Oh thank you ma I am very grateful,I really appreciateeeeeee,ahhh,I felt this pain on my waist,my leg and my tummy, obviously my baby was coming,,ahhaa, doctor I held the woman,I was in pains....

Okay you'd have to give me his number,the lady brought her phone and asked me to call father's number,I did,she dialed it,and he soon picked,she introduced herself,and then told father I was in at the hospital,and in labor,she sent him the address of the hospital....
In about 45minutes,mother and father were around...
Oh my daughter,I was worried sick about you,father said...
Father thanked the woman for her good gestures....
I was in labor all through the night,father,and Mrs Johnson were with me, praying for me and encouraging me,mother had gone to the reception to sleep....
It was day break almost noon,and I was yet to have my baby,the doctor came again and checked me..I do not have her medical history,so I think to be on a safer side in saving mother and child,a cesarean section would be the best option,the doctor said....
Doctor, please just safe my daughter's life,do all there's to do and save my daughterrrrrrr
Honey you can't be so fast,cesarean section is always very expensive,I don't think we can afford that,have you seen this hospital,it's a big one, please let discharge her and take her where she registered,or they should give her more time, she'd deliver,mother said...
Do you even know what you are saying, Esohe is in pain,she had been in pain all through the night,and it's pass noon now,father quarried her,, doctor please go on with the Cesarean,father told the doctor....
Okay sir,you would have to make an initial deposit of #70,000,the doctor said...
Okay na,have you heard,not even the whole money to be paid, but an initial deposit,where in the name of God can we get such amount of money from,mother said....
I shouted again,as the pain became unbearable...
Doctor please go on, I'd pay the bills,, Mrs Johnson said,she went to the cashier and made the payment....
Father thanked her so much.....
Mother thanked her too,but it was obvious she still preferred I was allowed to labour instead of that....
The doctor asked the nurses to take me to the theater,just on our way inside,my water broke,and before we know what was happening,the baby's head was already out,the nurses assisted me,and before the doctor could come closer, the baby was already in the hands of one of the nurses,this is a miracle the doctor said,there and then I got a name for my baby, she's going to be called MIRACLE I said in my heart...
The nurses took me to the labour ward for necessity,the doctor went to inform father ,mother and Mrs Johnson I had deliver,I could hear them thanking God, father rejoicing,and singing songs of praise....
I was soon out of the labour room to the ward,I didn't come with anything,as I didn't know i was having my baby that day, thankfully mother had brought the few things I had bought,and Mrs Johnson bought the others from the hospital,I was similes all through seeing my baby,she was a special gift from God to me,she was worth all the pains,she was very very beautiful....
Congratulations dear,you are such a strong young lady,I am so happy for you Mrs Johnson said....

Father and mother thanked her too for her kindness,she said she had to rush home,but would be back in few hours,she kissed my forehead and left....
Itohan,go home and make something for iyeomomo,father said to mother...
Mother was very happy,the smiles were evident in her eyes,she kissed her granddaughter and went home to make something for me....
Father was with me,he wouldn't leave my side,he had started calling his friends and family that he had become a grandfather....
Father also called Nathan,he was very happy,he spoke with me,and asked if our baby was beautiful,and I told him yes, father also called my uncle,he was very very happy,he said he was out of town,but promised to come see us immidiately he entered Benin.,...
Mother soon came with white rice and pepper soup,it was very peppery,but she insisted it was good for me....
Breastfeeding wasn't easy for me,it was so painful,but the joy of knowing my little one needed that to be healthy and okay was my consolation....
Mrs Johnson came later in the evening,she bought big tins of provisions, varieties of fruits an even some clothes and toys for the baby,father, mother and I was very grateful....
Father asked if we could be discharged,the doctor said they would have to observe the baby and I till the next day, to be sure we are okay,hence we had to wait till the next day,and if we are okay,by noon of the next day,we should be discharged....
Mrs Johnson was soon on her way home,but promised to come back the next day to drive us home in her car,,,father couldn't stop thanking her.....
Father let mother take you home,mother could stay with us,you need to rest,I said....
Rest ke,no no my daughter,I am going to stay with my daughter and granddaughter,he said....
I smiled,I really needed him though,as I was more comfortable with him by my side than mother....
My baby girl was a sucker,she wouldn't stop eating,my nipples soon began so hurt,I was even crying at some point, especially that first night,no body told me that part of motherhood....
Soon it was daybreak,mother made hot tea for me,and some slices of bread, the doctor came later and checked my baby and I,he said we were good and could be discharged,oh thank God,father exhaled happily...
Soon Mrs Johnson came in,we were already packing....
Oh so we are fit to be discharged she asked...
Yes ma,the doctor said my baby and I are fit,I said..
Oh thank God....she said....
On our way out,we went to the cashier, Mrs Johnson leading the way,to know if the initial 70,000 deposit covered our bills,the cashier returned 18,000 to Mrs Johnson,as our bill was 58,000....
58,000 for someone that delivered by herself,this hospital is just too expensive,mother said....
Ehheenn,madam we really appreciate, God bless you for your kindness,father said to Mrs Johnson..
Oh it's fine sir, Ese is so lovable,I already see her as my daughter sir, please don't mention....
My darling, take the balance, Mrs Johnson handed the 18,000 to me,I had already deposited that money in your name, so it's yours,she said....
I knelt thanking her ...
She quickly helped me up,come on dear,stand up,you just had a baby,you can't be doing this,she said,and hugged me....
We entered her car and she was driving us home.....
Indeed God sends angles to us in human forms,Mrs Johnson was definitely one sent from God to me,and I was very thankful....
