...... Inside the taxi cab,I was so anxious,I kept asking the driver to increase the speed. .
Madam you want make the two of us die, this one wey you just dey hurry, abeg I no dey drive that kind one ohh,the cab man said....
Since there wasn't anything I could do,I started praying....
Dear Lord, please,I don't want to get home to any evil news, please protect everyone around me,I pleaded...
At long last,I arrived home....
I knocked at the gate and went inside,the compound was beautifully decorated, immediately I walked in,the DJ started playing a beautiful birthday song,the gate was now opened,and everyone inside came out to join those outside, Charis was holding a very big and well decorated card,which reads

I was in shock,it was my 18th birthday indeed,but I never imagined to be this honoured,father,my uncle,mama Ada,,my colleagues at the the fashion school, and even my madam and the other girl with her when I left were in attendance,I wondered how they arrived before me,tears of joy freely flowed down my cheeks, Mrs Johnson came to me,and hugged me tightly....
Happy birthday my darling daughter,she said...
Thank you mummy,I replied,it just came out of my mouth,and that I called and still call her till date, she's truly a mother to me,my uncle hugged me, Charis,and other persons I didn't even know,I bent and hugged father,who was all smiles....
Okay darling, it's time for a make over....

She took me to her room,a beautiful golden dress was on the bed,and a lovely shoe to go with it.
I had my bath,and wore the dress, wondering how it fits so perfectly, i knew my madam and schoolmates would have helped in that area...
A beautiful hair was already in the waiting,I wore that too and the makeup artist was there to give my face a positive turn around.....
A beautiful silver crown was on my head...
Indeed am the little girl God choosed to show Mercy and honour...
At the end of it all,a big mirror was placed in front of me, I could barely recognize myself,I was looking like a fairly tale princess..
Looking at where I am coming from and that very day,the handwork of God was boldly on me....
You look amazing, Charis said hugging me....
Thank you,I said with some tear drop finding it's way....
No no no,not today, not even a drop of tear is allowed to come from those eyes,have fun princess,she said....
I stepped out and all the guests stood,and were clapping their hands and cheering me,,,I mean I,Esohe,,,I was very grateful to mummy...
Mummy had Mimi wrapped to her back,she walked up to where I stood and hugged me,you look fabulous dear child,she whispered to my ears... thanks mother,I gave a beautiful kiss to my baby on her back.....
I had my first dance with the two most important men in my life,my uncle and father,did I mention father was no longer using the wheelchair,oh yes,even though he wasn't fully okay yet,he was using crushes,and to us that was a massive improvement,he gently danced with me,I was happy having both of them around....
I soon cut my very Big cake and the merriment continued....
I danced and danced and danced and danced like I have never done before...
I was soon called by the master of ceremony to come give a speech...
I took the microphone from him,at first I didn't know how to begin,but then I had to....
......I am just a nobody God choosed to love and honour..when I lost my mother,I thought that would be the end of me, especially in this cruel world where nobody seems to care,but then God gave me a very loving uncle,who became my everything, loving me unconditionally....
Life is full of ups and downs indeed, I soon made a terrible mistake,which was not entirely my fault though,and of course which I don't regret now,as it had given me,my most valuable treasure,my baby.... getting pregnant when I wasn't ready,was the toughest time of my life,I didn't even know I'd survive it,yet again God showed himself,and gave me another Father,who was my everything at that point,my strength,my encouragement and a strong pillar of support,daddy Edosa, who loved me like his very own daughter,also another person that was very supporting at that time was mama Ada(I waved at her),she stood in from time to time as my acting mother,(everyone laughed, easing the tension be of my very emotional speech)......
Listening to my story,you'd realize I needed a full time mother,I smiled...I was longing for a mother's love,and God brought my mummy,Mrs Johnson my way, God indeed sealed it,as I met my sister Charis not even knowing she's mummy's daughter, looking at all the wonderful people around me,and all God had done and is still doing in my life,I would only say thank you to him for giving me amazing angels as family,I am very grateful,and to you all that have come to celebrate with me,I am grateful,
Thanks mummy for all your love,I do not take it for granted,I said,she walked up to me and hugged me, Charis also joined....
It was an emotional time, everyone clapped...
I danced,and danced,and danced untill I was tired,the party ended at about 9pm...
It was a joyous party.....
Two days later, mummy called me, to have a word with me...
my dear,I know you love fashion,but you are going to go back to school,you must be a great woman that people would look up to,she said...
Do you want to go back to secondary school or you'd want me to get a good private teacher that would lecture you at home alone,she asked....
Mummy, I'd like to go to school again,it will be very challenging,and make me more focused, I said....
My child, that's nice, I'd also get you a home teacher to assist you,so that you'd catch up in time,she said.....
I hugged her happily...but mom,can I please continue my fashion school...I asked. ..
Of course my daughter,I have seen you have passion for that, it's just to take it to the next level,she said ...
.oh mom thanks alot,I replied happily....
About a month on,father was fit already,he was able to walk now,even though he leaps,,but we were very happy....
Father soon returned home,I, Charis and Mummy took him home....
Getting home,we found out that Nathan and his mother had relocated,we were also made to understand that Osato had travelled out of the country....
Father was very surprised that his wife could still send Osato overseas despite his warnings...
Can you live here all by yourself Mr Edosa,mom asked him.... feeling concerned.
Oh yes Mrs Johnson,I can I am very strong and agile,father said stretching out his hands and legs in a funny manner....
So Mr Edosa, what's the way forward,what do you want to do now,mom asked him....
Well, I'd try and look for a job,you know getting one isn't really easy,but I am hopeful,he said..
Okay then, I'd speak with a couple of friends and hopefully they'd have something for you,mom said...
Father and I were so happy,we thanked her so much....
Soon School had resumed for another term, Abigail and I were registered in thesame school,uncle insisted on taking care of Abigail's fees, saying leaving mine and hers to Mrs Johnson would be asking for too much,even though she didn't complain,she had to let him,as he insisted.....
Uncle was always coming to visit us when ever he was around,he and Mummy were getting along pretty cool...
It was my first day at school, Charis drove I and Abigail..
Here we are sis,at school,she said ...
I exhaled,,I suddenly became scared and didn't know what to expect...
Come on sweetie,you can't be nervous,take it one step at a time,know why you are here,I trust you, you'd handle this,,she said...
I have the best sister in the world,I said smiling..
You can say that again,she replied smiling too...
School was nice, though I was older than most of my class mate,I think one or two were about my age,so it made adjusting very easy....
With the help of my home teacher, Charis and hard work,I was catching up very fast. ..
Mummy made sure Mimi wasn't distracting me,the helpers were taking care of her when mom goes to work,and she takes care of her granddaughter when she is around, their bound soon became very strong....
With the help of mom,father got a job in a very big bottling company,he held an enviable position,and a very nice salary to go with it,,we were very grateful....
I was going to visit him every Sunday,father was doing well for himself...
He soon got a bigger and nicer apartment and he moved out....
One Saturday evening, Charis and I went to the grocery store not too far from the house,to get some items.....
We were about entering the car, when someone held me......
