At about 6:30pm,my phone rang.........

Please calm down,I am doctor uwa, your mother was involved in an accident, and was rushed to my hospital,he said....

Mimi was with a nurse in the reception,she was unhurt,and playing,I exhaled,and then requested to see mom,she was in the intensive care unit,she was greatly hurt,and was in pains,the driver was in the ward,he sustained Minor injuries,I learnt from him that it was a careless driver that hit their vehicle while coming out of a lane without looking,it happens to be the direction mom and Mimi were,mom did all she could to cover Mimi, that was why she was unhurt,and she sustained major injuries,her right hand and right leg were greatly injured....
What ever did I do to deserve this kind of a woman,I thought within...
I called the help at home to come take Mimi home,I didn't want to leave mom...
The help soon came and took Mimi home,,,not without some observation on her to confirm she was okay....
My maternal uncle called me,to tell he would be coming to our place the next day as he was around,okay daddy, I said,and he could understand my tone....

It's okay, she'd be fine uncle assured me,even though I could see the pains in his eyes,he stayed with me all through the night....
At dawn,he asked me to go home,at least to have a bath,Change My clothes and eat something....
Uncle are you sure I should go,I mean can you stay here all by yourself....I asked.
Come on Esohe,I am the older one here, I'd be fine,go have your bath,he said...
I thanked him and went home to bath and ate something,I made sure Abigail left for school,and left some instructions on what to do with the help,and went back to the hospital,,,.
Getting there,I saw uncle held mummy's hand in such a way that shows he really cared,I mean really cared,I think uncle feel something special for mom,I thought within,hmm, perhaps I was over thinking this,I concluded.. .
I walked into the ICU,mom was still in coma, don't worry my child, she'd be fine, she's going to come out of this stronger,we need her,she can't leave us,I mean she can't leave you, Charis and her granddaughter,so cheer up, she'd be fine ,uncle said...
He had bought toothbrush and a toothpaste at the hospital,to clean his mouth...
I called daddy Edosa,to inform him of mom's condition,he was so displeased,he checked up on her after work,he couldn't help but feel bad for her...

Mom had been receiving gifts at the office with a note, someone loving you from afar,she told me,and we laughed over it, wondering who the person was, little did I know it was my uncle.....
I went out side to get uncle food, getting back,I saw uncle all smiles, wondering why I walked in,and I saw that mom was out of coma,the doctor was with her,I went In And hugged her gently, uncle held her hands, smiling brightly...
She was soon transfered to a private ward,and we were asked not to stress her,as she wasn't fully stable.....
How's Mimi mummy asked softly...
She fine mom, she's at home,am so sorry for the pains you feel now,I said....
Ese, it's no fault of yours,I am happy Mimi is fine, don't worry about me,you know your mom is a fighter,she still made me laugh even in her pain....

When she was stable I was a little calm,I called Charis and told her what was on ground,she was really worried, though happy mom was out of coma....
Mom stayed about two weeks at the hospital, before she was free to go home, though was still going for check ups ...
Uncle was with her all through,he barely went home to change....
We had a little welcome home party for mom, strictly family,she was very happy...
Uncle wanted to go home,but mummy insisted he stayed the night...
he agreed,I thought he'd ceased the opportunity and tell her what he feels,but unfortunately, didn't happen...
My paternal uncle came to visit mom,and also to inform me, he'd be traveling back to Europe..
He transferred a reasonable sum of money into my account,and promised to always call,which he did...
Back to daddy Edosa, Osato was out of the hospital,but she had refused to see her mom, neither to live in the same house with her,so father had to rent a single apartment for her...
I went to her place,and she was pleading for my forgiveness....

She told me all she went through in Libya...
I was dehumanized,abused,and treated worse than an animal,she explained in tears,I will never forgive my mother for what I went through,she cried..

Nathan ,was studying hard to gain admission again so as to earn his father's trust,his mother was wallowing in self condemnation,the quilt of what she caused her only daughter was eating her up,she became a shadow of herself,I couldn't help but feel sorry for her....
Mom encouraged me to also register for jamb, perhaps I could pass,but even if I don't,I would have gained the experience and prepare better the next year as I was also preparing for WAEC...
I was studying real hard,I had two major exams to write,I stopped going to the fashion school for the main time,so that I could concentrate on my studies....
I soon wrote my jamb,and I passed with a total score of 256, Nathan wrote too and he passed too with a total score of 278, don't understand estimate the power of a determined man...
I had WAEC to write too,I was hoping to also pass,I did the best I could ...
Uncle and mummy became friends,but uncle was yet to tell mummy what he feels for her...
I wanted to know Charis' opinion on mother and my uncle being an item,she was well pleased with it,I wouldn't want mummy been in the wrong hands,with your uncle,I am sure she'd find the happiness she really deserved...she said....

Mom's birthday was approaching,but she insisted she didn't want a party,just close family and friends for dinner and that's all...

It was mom's birthday anniversary,I invited her sister, employees at her office, daddy Edosa, uncle,and some of her friends in church,it was a beautiful dinner,at about 8:30pm,the guest were almost on their way home,some persons came with gifts,they presented to her and were on their way home....
Uncle was the last guest around,he brought his gift to mom....
She received it with a smile,, thank you very much,she Said....

But why,she asked returning the smile....

Okay,if you say so,she slowly unwrapped her gift,she was happy seeing her favorite perfume,then was the little note attached to it....
Mummy read it and her facial expression changed........
I didn't know what to expect, would she feel insulted,I mean Indeed they aren't on thesame social status,or would she agree to been in a relationship with uncle....
I didn't even know how to feel about the whole thing at that Moment....
