It's Joel ma,the man from the bank,she said....
My heart skipped,it must be because of the loan,how do I tell my mom,I took a loan from the bank to establish someone who has broken my heart into a thousand pieces....
I sluggishly got up and walked to the living room, with mother behind me ...
Goodday Joel,I greeted,him shaking hands...

Okay ma,Mabel said and left,she soon came back with the cheque book,and I am sure Joel would have discussed with mom the amount and even the interest,she signed a cheque and gave him,the extra 200 thousand is for your inconveniences,mother said to Joel,who thankfully accepted the cheque......
Okay man,I have to be on my way to the bank, Joel said, shaking hands with me again and taking his leave....
I walked up to mother, knelling at her feet..

Soon breakfast was done,mother had gotten dressed for work,and Ada, trying to babysit me wouldn't let me be,,she had me sat by her side,in the living room, seeing a boring movie with her.....
We played,games too,and I preferred that,even though, Ada was winning,I didn't mind,I preferred it to the movie.....
At about 3pm,we heard a knock at the door, Ada went for it.....
It was Chi.....
Chidera,how are you,I asked..
Am fine thank you AD,how are you,she asked .....
Am good, thanks,you seems to be here so early,it isn't our closing hours yet,I asked....
I know,I was worried sick about you,I didn't know how you were handling yesterday's drama,I needed to see you and make sure you are fine,I told the GM there's an emergency I needed to attend to,and he said I could go,she replied....
Well,as long as the request is coming from you,the GM, would definitely grant in a hurry,I teased...
Come on AD,you know I have nothing with him,she replied....

Oh please, enough of the GM's talk, have you had something to eat,she asked...
Not yet oh,we had breakfast and have been busy with so many things,now that you've mentioned, it's high time we had something....
Mabel, Mabel, Ada called....
Yes ma,the helper replied...
Please is lunch ready,she asked...

Okay then please serve the table.so guys,let's get to the table,,,we all had something to eat....
while we were at the table, Chidera was all happy and smiling like a new bride,,,I believe she was getting very comfortable with my family,and perhaps thinking I am in love with her,I know,I may not love Ehi anymore,but I was so not ready for another committed,and I don't think I feel anything if sort for Chi,I didn't know how to tell her without sounding rude or wicked.....
We finished eating and Chi came to me holding my hand and smiling,I smiled back at Intervals,,,we sat on the same couch,and started seeing a movie together along with Ada, seating on the opposite direction.....
Someone was at the door,and Ada,went for it...
Goodday,are you looking for some one,I could hear Ada ask....
Madam,she say na Oga AD she dey fine,she say na him wife she be,,,Emeka,the gate keeper said,
I was shocked to my bones,same was Chi,I stood up,not knowing how to react,or what to do to her, for having the nerve to show her shameless face in my father's house...
Hmmmmm,so you are Ehi,, you are the one that is trying so hard to kill my only brother, Ada said in anger.,.
Please,I am sorry for all I did to Amadi,I feel so ashamed of myself,I can't believe I was so stupid, please,you have to help me beg my husband,I am sorry, Ehi said...
